And if I am in a hurry, what’s the best way to do it? I will be going to the gym for about an hour everyday and will watch my diet too.

you should do 1 to 2 hours of cardio a day , and you should also use the upper and lower body machines to strength train because working on your muscles burns fat faster than if you dont do anything with your muscles. here is what i do at the gym ….

monday - 30 minutes treadmill , 30 minutes exercise bike
i work my triceps and biceps on the machines they
provide.

tuesday- 30 minutes treadmill , 30 minutes elliptical
i work my glutes and thighs

wednesday- 30 minutes stairstepper , 30 minutes exercise bike , i work my back muscles and abdominals.

thursday- 30 minutes treadmill , 30 minutes elliptical
i work my triceps and biceps.

friday- 30 minutes stairstepper , 30 minutes exercise bike
i work my glutes and thighs

saturday - i only do 30 minutes cardio on either the treadmill, e. bike , elliptical , or stairstepper and i work my back and abdominals.

now for some diet tips , do not take in over 10 grams of refined sugar a day (of course that doesnt include fruit sugar ) , drink half of your body weight in water a day. eat 5-6 small meals instead of 3 big ones.

the key is to eat all throughout the day to keep that metabolism going so you can constantly burn fat .

i lost 30 pounds in 3 months but a lot of that was water weight .

just keep to the exercise routine . eat with your brain not with your tastebuds. you will lose a lot of weight but dont rush yourself , nothing is worth screwing up your health let it come naturally and you will feel good inside and look hot outside.

What lisa s. said was pretty good.. except I’d like to add a few points…

Take 2 protein shakes evey day to help support all that weight training. I recommend Labrada Lean Body Carb Watchers. Any GNC carries it.

Also, weight train BEFORE you do your cardio.

Be careful with your carbs! Limit starches to before noontime, and absolutely none, including fruit, after 6pm. Your last real “meal” should be by 6pm. My meal schedule was as follows: get up and have a shake, 9:30- have breakfast like cottage cheese and pineapple; 11:00am- morning snack like maybe skim milk cheese; 1:00pm- a low fat low carb lunch; 3:00pm- snack like a vegetable without dip; 6:00pm- low fat low carb dinner; 8:30pm protein shake.

If you choose to have bread during the day let’s say for lunch, always choose wheat, not white.

No more fruit juice! It has lots of unnecessary sugar.

I lost 40 lbs 2 years ago, and gained 50 back after a back injury and am in the same spot as you now. Good luck!
