If I eat 1400 calories a day, do 45 min of cardio 5 days a week, and lift weights one can I lose the weight by the beginning of March and is it safe? I am 195 pounds and 5′ 6.
i meant do one hour of cardio 5 days a week

It will take more than just that to lose 50 pounds by march. You will need to make sure what you are eating has the right nutrients and vitamins in it. You can eat 1400 calories worth of junkfood/fast food per day, but you won’t lose weight because its so bad for you. Also, you don’t really need to lose 50 pounds, you don’t want to look too thin or anything, most guys don’t like boney girls.

That’s about 7 lbs a month. Very safe. But difficult to say if that regimen will equate to 50 lbs off.

You may build some muscle, too, so the weight loss may not be quite as much. Be concerned with how you feel and the appearance more than the quantity of weight lost.

Depends on your metabolism but generally it is safe to lose 2-4 lbs a week through diet and exercise.

If you loose it with out diet pills and your all natural than yes. but your skin is more likely to sag and look old if you loose weight that fast. and know that you shouldn’t go by your weight because when you begin building muscle then you will stay the same weight altho your weight isn’t fat, its muscle. Going by your measurement is the best way. and not every persons body is meant to be super skinny so just be healthy and Never buy in to the diet fads. My # 1 diet secret…. Water! it would be the best way. you gave yourself a realistic date to reach your goal. i would start of with your calories a little higher( around 1800 )then work your way down. you don’t want to get burned out to quickly. every 2 weeks drop your calories by 200 a day. this way you wont shock your body and you will keep losing weight as you go along. if you don’t do this you will hit a plateau ,like most people, and your weight loss will be slowed down. good luck.

I would suggest a cleansing diet. I lost 12 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. I also lost a lot of inches too! I learned that cleansing will help the body get rid of impurities. Impurities come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives and lots of other things.
