My mom has tried almost any kind of weight loss exercises and pills to lose weight but nothing has worked well until she used the Proactol that she really love, it’s been covered on CNN and Telegraph.co.uk. She worked off 7 pounds in three weeks. She bought it from a local store but I found this products by Google at this site: They also have many tips for losing weight for home mom and over weighted men. I highly recommend proactol for all who want to lose weight fast and safely.

Yes, definitely, unless you are walking to McDonald’s.

I think you will lose weight but 50lbs is a lot. Try doing some cardio or lifting weights and you have to remember to eat healthy.

That might be an unrealistic goal for yourself. Make short term goals, don’t give up! You can loose the weight…just don’t get discouraged!

What amazes me is how do you have time and energy to walk 4-5 hours??? After 15 minutes on treadmill I am burnt out! I guess as long as you stay active and aren’t eating a ton of bad food after your exercise, you should lose weight.

Probably not fifty pounds but 20-30 is possible. Increase the fiber in your diet since it makes you feel fuller with fewer calories. Oatmeal, beans, and fruit juices all help you lose weight.

Very probably not, I’m sorry to say.

A pound of weight loss represents 3500 calories either not eaten or burned through exercise.

You don’t give us your pace, but let’s say you do 17-minute miles for 4 hours a day. 3.5 miles/hour (17 min./mile) burns .033 calories per pound per minute. .033 x 200 x (60 x 4) = 1584 calories. Seven days a week makes that 11,088 calories a week, for a weight loss of 3.1 pounds, which is very good for a week but will not let your reach your goal by January. This also assumes that all this exercise does not increase your appetite, so you continue to eat about the same number of calories as usual.

Or say you got faster and longer. 4.0 miles/hour (15 min./mile) burns .042 calories per pound per minute. (Go much faster and you’re jogging, not walking.) Say you do it five hours, not four.
.042 x 200 x (60 x 5) = 2520 per day, times seven days is 17,640, for a loss of five pounds a week. This is excellent, possibly even too fast, but you’d lose only 40 of your 50 pounds by January.

This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it, but that by modifying your eating habits *and* exercising, you might attain your goal.

The walking will help you lose no matter what and I think that is the best way for your weight. But I would also stop any fat, but fish and olive oil (healthy fat), no sugar if you can stand it, and cut down on bread products. You should see a good weight loss. I don’t know how much but you should feel better and see a difference.
