I weigh 220 and i want to get down to at least 170 before August I drink plenty of water during the day ,walk 3 miles and eat soup and veggies.I’ve lost weight before but i never could lose my stomach how can I do that???

its very possible…just do more intense cardio than walking, like a step climber or elliptical, do some weight lifting too, and eat about 1500-1800 calories a day….try to get as many of them as u can from protein then from carbs and the least from fat

nothing is impossible, i’ve lost 35 pounds in 5 months and i would love to drop a few more but i dont feel like dieting and exercising, so i guess i will retake my regimen after february, jsut exercise and try to eat healthy, never quit and good luck

Hon, you never shoulda got that big in d first place. Lose weight slowly or it will just come back on. Once you loose d weight keep it off.

exercise at least 3 times a week for 30 minutes or more.
make sure to eat AT LEAST 1500 calories a day, (dont starve yourself.)
change is not immediate overnight. Try to find a support system of family and friends
i personally love to exercise with my friends.

with some exercise, good food choices, and a positive attitude, anything is possible

do weight watchers…it works if you stay within your points. it’s the only thing that’s ever really worked for me. so count points and work out and you should reach your goal weight by august. good luck!

ill share with u my experience- last year i was really unhappy with my weight im around 5 feet tall and i weighed a little over 170 lbs so that looks like a lot on me- i got that way because of 3 reasons- 1) for a year and a half i worked at a fast food restauraunt and ate their constantly so i gained 30 lbs right there!! 2) i left the fast food restauraunt because i started college but because of all the stress i gained another 10 lbs in 2 semesters and 3 because of inactivity -so i dropped out of college and decided to take a break (ive been out of school and working since last may of 2006 but i am starting college again in a week from now) anyways when i left school i decided to join a gym to start losing weight because it was in the summer i started doing other activities like biking and taking walks- i also decided to educate myself on fitness! because for me it was not about going on a diet and exerciseing- it was about a lifestyle change!!! i had to basically get more active and start making BETTER food choices! for example: when i was working at the fast food restauraunt and when i was still in school i would be constantly eating out sometimes i wouldnt even eat at all and when i would skip a meal the next time that i had to eat i would eat more! when i started my weight loss journey i was aiming for 2 lbs a week but that was really hard- the begining was the hardest for me because the #s on the scale just wouldnt budge and it would be really fustrating- but summer went by and my clothes started fitting much more loser and by october by friend told me “o crap u lost weight!” i checked the scaled and saw that i had gone from 170 down to 155 lbs! it took me 6 months to lose 15 lbs!!! and that feeling felt soo good!! i was so happpy to see that when i went shopping i was like a size smaller!! then i sort of hit a plateau from october til christmas because of work and all i just sort of felt lazy so my weight stayed the same it was kinda like a roller coasetr.. my weight went up and down but it kind of stayed teh same- i recently started picking up my weightloss journey about a week or 2 ago and i realized this while i was having sort of a bad day- if u have an extra cookie and extra cup of coffee a can of soda instead of a glass of water that can add up to a couple of hundred of calories a day and in a week that COULD = up to 3500 calories!!! so if 1 lb = 3500 calories then well there goes the the other lbs that i wanted to lose for that week get it ? my point is u need to completley change ur lifestyle!! u cant do it all at once but just one day at a time!!! educate urself about weight loss!! look up tips on how others have done it online! u can check yahoo answers!!! or u can ask people urself to share their experience on how they lost weight! not through some sort of freaky diet or pill but the natural way!! so good luck and if u need any help or encouragement u can just email me at

Fresh fruit and whole gain breads will help you feel full longer. Forget the “all carbs are bad” idea, just lay off white bread/rolls, white rice and non-whole grain pasta. One thing that will help you lose weight is SNACKS! Yes, a piece of fruit or a (low sugar) yogurt or (low sugar) granola type bar mid morning and afternoon will help you not munch on chips and stuff. Don’t skip breakfast.
Increasing your water consumption would be good. Go for lean meats and remember that according to the dietitians a “serving” of meat is 4 ounces… about the side of a normal deck of playing cards. So watch your portions and fill up on fruits and vegetables.

If you want to lose weight some weeks.
You can try Lose weight a week plan first!

Day 1:

Eat the soup accompanied with watermelon and melon for your main food all day long. Consume a glass of unsweetened cranberry juice before you go to bed.

Day 2:

Stop eating fruit at all! Consume your soup and you are allowed to eat green salad. Make sure the salad contain no dressings, peas and corns.

For dinner you can consume roasted potato or baked potato with butter (don’t ever think to fry it)

Day 3:

Consume the soup, salad and fruit but no potato today.

Day 4:

Eat the soup accompanied with a glass of skimmed milk. Consume 8 pieces of banana to provide your body enough energy. Your body now need carbohydrate and protein also calcium to lessen body need for sugar.

Day 5

Eat your soup again. Today you should consume salad and salmon fish. Make sure the salmon fish don’t exceed 10 ounces.

Day 6

You should consume maximum 10 ounces of meat along with your soup. You need the protein here.

Last Day

Consume 4 table spoons of rice with vegetables. Drink fresh watermelon or melon juice without sugar and eat your soup also today.
