i heard from my friend how she lost weight and the wya she lost it is by stop eating late, and dont eat that much fried food or junk food everyday. Like just once a week eat that. But dont eat that late.
you’re tall……..Water fast……..but don’t kill yourself…..you’ll lose like 10lbs a week…if you get past the first 3 days…
Bad eating habits slowly accumulate the extra pounds. I’m trying to lose a few. And the older you are - the harder it is to lose those extra pounds.
Not a total solution - but I have seen in several reports that a soda has more calories than something like a Big Mac. And that the average person needs something like walking for 30 minutes to get rid of the calories from 1 soda.
These reports state - that cutting out the sodas - someone can lose up to 12-15 pounds in a year. Also think of the money you can save by not drinking them.
The other thing, is just to walk. Don’t have to run, just walk at a normal pace. The more times you walk, you’ll get stronger and then be able to walk longer and faster.
Another suggestion, from personal experience - don’t focus on a BIG GOAL. A BIG GOAL would be to lose 50 pounds. Getting to that goal would be gradual and you would feel like you are not accomplishing it.
Set a SMALL GOAL - I want to lose 1-2 pounds within 2 weeks. Check your weight each day. If you cut your food intake (and stop/reduce the amount of soda) you will make your goal. You will feel like you are making progress (you are). You may even notice that you lost the 2 pounds BEFORE the 2 weeks are up.
What to do? Celebrate - by setting a new goal (2-3 pounds in the next 2 weeks).
You want the goal small enough - that you can see the “end-in-sight” for reaching that goal.
And if you don’t make that goal - hey it was only 1-3 pounds and it was only for 2 weeks - not a year long plan. If you don’t make the goal, refocus and try again. Even if you do not hit the goal - at least you did not eat like you have been doing - so you probably avoided gaining some extra pounds.
Also - people believe in things more if they can see it written down. So, get a piece of paper and write your goal down (I’m going to lose a pound this week” and put it in your billfold. During the day, pull it out and read it.
Get a calendar - for the year - and write down your weight every Monday and what your gaol is by next Monday.
Both of these will help you focus on what you want to accomplish.
Good luck.
