I am 6′2 and weight 280 pounds. I want to lose 50 pounds by the end of August. What do I need to do. I have tried a low carb diet, but I makes feel nausiated and weak (with no energy) so I stopped it and I do about 30 minutes of the treadmill, but nothing seems to be working. Please help.

caloric intake of 1200 per day , exercise w/ cardio, and drink water. That’s alot to drop…and unless you’re totally committed, it seems unrealistic and frankly, unhealthy. Maybe set a goal for each month and evaluate your progress.

go to they have a plan that takes u week by week and has delicious food and fun and easy workouts. just get a username and password and start ur self plan.

Watch your carbs and sodium intake. And when I say
watch your carbs I don’t mean cutting out carbs just
don’t eat as many. You probably cut out too many
in your low carb diet. Doing the treadmill is good but
you need to add aerobics every other day. And you
might want to try doing the treadmill for 45 min. or
an hour. If you don’t feel like you are being challenged
by doing it for only 30 min. increase the time.

Drink nothing but filtered water, eat Super spicy food, (that clears you out! Like add cayenne and other peppers to broth or whatever else you are eating. Walk, ride you bike EVERY day, mix it up, but walk ( at a quick pace)at least 2-4 (1 hour) miles a day, or ride your bike, always try to ride at least 5 or more miles (15 mins). Always start your day with something in your stomach, to get your metabolism going. DON’T eat 3 hours before you go to bed. Cut out ALL FAST FOOD,fried food, and butter. try to snack throughout the day ( nuts berries, fruit, celery carrots, cucumbers) The slower you lose the weight, the longer you will keep it off though. try walking and riding your bike instead of driving if possible.

You could be a candidate for gastric ring or balloon surgery that would help you reach your target. If you are opposed to surgery ,you must start making healthier food choices, decrease your portion size and increase your activity level. While doing the treadmill is good, there are better calorie-burning activities, such as swimming that could help you lose weight.

Walk! 30 minutes is not going to do much. Walk a mile a day for a week. Next week increase it to 1.5 or 2 miles if you can do it. Keep adding distance each week if you can until you are walking 5 miles a day. Best bet-walk away from your home half the distance, so you have to walk back. Going around the block doesn’t cut it, because you can quit.
Once you are walking 5 miles a day, you will be burning the calories off and reducing your cravings. Go back to the low carb diet–carbs are your enemy, they turn into sugar which slow your metabolism. Avoid anything with high fructose corn syrup, the evil metabolism-crushing ingredient.
