I’m a guy, 6 foot 4 inches tall, 250 pounds. I’d like to get down to 200 pounds in 5 months and I don’t enjoy lifting heavy weights.

If you want to lose the weight then weights aren’t for you cause you’ll gain muscle and everyone knows that muscle weighs more than fat i would suggest running or walking at first and working out doing sit ups and pushups stuff like that will help. Also get one of those stability balls because that will make it harder to do the situps and you will be able to work that area harder. Also eating more proteins and vegetables and less breads.

u gotta go running like a mile a day and do other exercises that require energy like situps. and remain active.

well major cardio, lifting waits will just make u gain waight cuz muscule is heavier than fat. salad every freaken day fir five months drop the sugar, eat a vegy, thats all i can help u with if your really commited u can do it.

Learn to like weights. The only thing that burns fat is muscle. The better your mussels, the better you will be at burning fat. You don’t need to bench heavy weights to get the results, just use enough to give yourself a challenge, but enough to do multiple sets.
Cardio, weights, proper diet and dedication will get you to your results.

Try Weight Watchers! The normal weight loss is 2 pounds per week after the first few weeks. The first few weeks you will lose 2-5 pounds. The great thing…you get to actually eat allot of food and not starve! There is also an on-line program you can use on it’s own or go to their meeting. Allot of men do go to the meetings. They’re short and there are allot of folks with great ideas and things that help you lose more weight. Go to. I have been a member since 1977. I’ve had 4 kids and every time it helped me get the weight off.

Men’s metabolism is faster than women’s by nature. You could typically lose ten pounds a month simply by cutting out about 800 calories a day, and do nothing else. That would be 5 sodas, or 2 sodas and one order of fries. Or one double cheeseburger.

If you did a high protein diet, i.e., tuna (not on bread) chicken ******* (six a day) a protein drink in the mornings, ate carbs only between 2:00 and 4:00 pm, and did not eat after seven pm, you’d lose it as well.

Walking around the block, or parking away from stores so you have to walk further helps get in any exercise. But you don’t have to lift heavy weights to lose weight; you need to increase your aerobic (heart rate) to lose weight. Weight training is anaerobic, and builds muscle, which, yes, is heavier than fat.

However… Fat cells never change. We are born with a certain number of fat cells; they do NOT go away! They expand, and hold more fat when we are overweight, and they shrink when we lose fat. It takes SIX months for fat cells to shrink. So, go ahead and do some sit-ups, and the fat will simply take time to appear gone, and the skin gets smoother and tighter.

stop eating foods high in fat nothing cooked in oil, no cheeses, no mayo or salad dressings, no soda’s, nothing white..like sugar, flour, potatoes
eat chicken ******* and fish and extra lean meat, lots of vegetables and fruits, skimmed milk only.
drink 1 cup water before eating,1 during meal and 1 after,
at every meal, you won’t be so hungry and feel full
start exercising everyday at least 30 minutes..even if you have to do it 10 mins at a time…just get up and do something…march in place as you watch TV
